Made this sculpture back in...I think 2004-5-ish..? Inspired by the angler fish and a sketch I made of some alien-like fish. Made with copper wire.

If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Then use the profits to buy an assault rifle. See if life makes the same mistake twice.
I seem to have a thing for fish today, oh well. :P

I love the work and effort that must have gone into this. The way the fins curve suggest that the fish is in motion and the way the shadow is position almost makes it seem like there is another fish swimming behind it. The composition is beautiful and the details are astonishing.

How long did this take you?
Huh. I didn't even notice that about the shadow...interesting... =)

Don't really know how long it took...It was one of those "I'm-really-bored-so-let's-work-on-this" kind of sculpture.
Amazing! I totally thought it was a hand drawn work when its thumbnail sized...

It looks really good, how did you bend and twist the wires? and how long did that take you?

(yes it is a trick question)
I used a pair of pliers...and... wait I think that was it  haha Since the copper wire was pretty thin and bendable to begin with it didn't really take much to bend the stuff around.

I really have no idea how long it took. I just worked on it on and off whenever I was bored :D
It looks really awesome, I think you should do more 3D art!! Want to see more from you!

LOL. Well, I'm glad you were bored that day and decided to work on this then.

Did you cut yourself during the process? The fish looks rather, umm, sharp.
Amazing, this is so creative! I love the shadow that it casts, as well as your interesting choice of animal - it works perfectly for wire!
